Screening Questions: (You must answer this along with the professional summary of the application):
.) The role requires an onsite presence with frequent in-person meetings and field networking. Have you discussed and confirmed the candidate’s availability for this work arrangement?
.) Does the candidate currently hold, or has previously held, an NMLS license?
.) How many years of mortgage origination experience does the candidate have, and how many years in a leadership or production management role?
.) Does the candidate have experience recruiting, hiring, and training Loan Officers?
.) Please provide an overview of the candidate’s business development experience — particularly in building and maintaining referral networks.
.) You're expected to drive significant origination growth and are accountable for recruiting, hiring, and training new Loan Officers (LOs). Assuming you start next month, describe your 90-day execution plan focused on recruiting your first three to five LOs. What specific sourcing channels would you prioritize, and what quantifiable production targets would you set for those new hires in their first six months to ensure rapid growth and accountability?
.) This is a hands-on role where you must ensure files move smoothly through the pipeline while dealing with the complexity of FNMA/FHA/VA guidelines. Describe a time when you personally partnered with processing or underwriting to re-engineer a flawed workflow. What specific operational knowledge (Encompass, guidelines, etc.) did you leverage, and what was the measurable impact on turn times or pull-through rate?
.) The hiring manager noted this role offers the potential to move up into an executive leadership role if you successfully grow the business. Thinking beyond the Loan Officer level, what specific initiatives would you undertake to expand Crown Mortgage's referral network and build the overall Crown Mortgage brand in the Oak Lawn market? How does your experience at an independent or smaller lender prepare you for this kind of entrepreneurial responsibility?

.) What is the candidate’s desired total compensation? (Please specify base salary vs. commission/bonus expectation).

.) Is the candidate legally authorized to work in the US for any employer?
.) Will the candidate now or in the future require immigration sponsorship for work authorization (for example, H-1B status)?
