Role & Responsibilities

Develop and deliver defect free, web-based applications using C#, ASP.Net and Oracle as per the specifications provided by the Business Analysts.

• Read and Understand the Functional and Technical Specification and have complete understanding of the work before commencing the work
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
• Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time.
• Adhere to the Quality Management Standards established in the organization.
• Understanding of the SDLC process defined in the organization and follow it without any deviation
• Providing third-level support to the support tickets raised by the business users
• Analyzing and resolving technical and application Logic related problems
• Ensure high performance in the application by developing efficient code

Ideal Candidate

Core skill required:

• In-depth knowledge of .NET framework like C#.net, ASP.net, ADO.net,.HTML, CSS, Javascript.
• Must have good exposure on query writing and DB management for writing stored procedures/user defined functions.
• Implement new technologies to maximize application performance.
• Design, Develop and Unit test applications.
• High performance in the application by developing efficient code.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor technical teams
• Resolving tickets raised by the customers

Primary skills:

• Should have 5 year of experience in .NET Framework like C#.Net and ASP.Net.
• Atleast 3 year of experience on Web Application development with ADO.Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Jquery.
• Good experience in Writing Complex SQL Queries using any of the RDBMS Database like Oracle, SQL Server etc.
• Experience in Creating and Testing Stored Procedures and Functions.

Secondary skills:

• Ability to analyze the existing code in the application and identify the Program Logic.
• Experience in implementing AJAX through Javascript/Jquery.
• Experience in Creating Reports and Documents using Crystall Reports.
• Experience in creating Front End Validations using JavaScript/Jquery.
• Experience in doing Manual or Automated Test will be a plus.

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience in developing ERP applications or Database Intensive Data Entry applications.
• Has worked as a Software Engineer in C#/ASP.Net technology for the last 2 years or more
• Has experience in using Team Foundation Server for Version Management
• Prior experience of working in the shipping domain
• Good experience in understanding the technical specifications and implementing the code accordingly
• Prior experience in working on application using the n-Tier architecture
• Experience in Doing Code Reviews a plus

Mandatory

• Strong .NET Senior Software Engineer Profile
• Mandatory (Experience 1) – Must have 5+ years of hands-on development experience with C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET.
• Mandatory (Experience 2) – Must have 3+ years of experience in web application development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery
• Mandatory (Experience 3) – Must have strong experience in Writing Complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Functions using Oracle / SQL Server.
• Mandatory (Skills) – Must have experience in designing, developing, and unit testing applications with SDLC compliance

Preferred

• Preferred (Skills) – Experience with AJAX, Crystal Reports, and front-end validations using JavaScript/jQuery.
• Preferred (Education) – ME/MTech (CS) or BE/BTech (CS).
